As conventions and conferences all over the world shut down during the pandemic, we were tasked with inventing a new kind of event, one that existed exclusively electronically and was accessible to anyone with Wifi. ANTIFILM, an experimental film festival hosted entirely on the Internet is an exploration of this concept.

With non-narrative and surreal shots, the opening video transports the audience to foreign landscapes that feel almost dreamlike, with artifacts that aren’t immediately identifiable.

In addition to the opening sequence, a series of secondary motion elements were developed to showcase a cohesive system. Lower thirds, a bug, and speaker/event introductions use the same typeface and fluid motion from the titles.
