Unbias AI

Algorithms as they exist in the world today are biased: by utilizing data that’s discriminatory and incomplete (often due to its adoption of the biases of its creators), machines latch onto incorrect assumptions that have dangerous real-world consequences for Black people. The first step in the reversal of this issue is to raise awareness, stimulate conversation, and hold Big Tech accountable. (Un)bias AI is a collection of essays compiled with the intent to spark conversation and inform readers.
